This would be done using an in Nifi, Apache Kafka, or an in house program call Data Orchestrator. • Worked with Team Leads to complete any open work orders to maintain our data feeds.• Installed and completed setup of all of the Acropolis current Nifi, Ambari, and Apache Kafka installs. This includes setting up accounts, requesting/installing CA certificates, and creating/maintaining operational dataflows on these servers. • Installations of NiFi, Ambari, Apache Kafka were completed with the use of Salt formulas, as well as manual configuration.• X.509 certificates used had to be setup the correct format for Nifi and Kafka to accept them. Each software had unique setups for the certificate to be accepted by the software. • Discovered way to implement new/old feeds using NiFi. This includes how to use all the processors as well as other services built into this software.• Developed a plan on how to organize production data feeds vs testing environments in NiFi. • In depth research on the recommended configurations for Apache Kafka. Kafka has a few different configuration locations that have to be configured correctly for the software to start.• Attended meeting with Government Reps and Team Leads to discuss priority/installations of current feeds coming into Acropolis. • Attending calls to troubleshoot data feeds.
