Currently a Senior Programme Manager working for Defra. I have been working within the civil service in various project and programme roles since 2017. I bring a proven track record of success in delivering a programme of R&D projects which have contributed to a world-leading, resilient, food and farming system. My work has supported critical government response and flagship policy including EU-exit, Covid-19, net-zero climate targets, and productivity initiatives. I am most motivated by project work that seeks to improve our natural environment.My main skills are planning having managed a programme covering hundreds of food and farming science projects. I have provided rigorous evidence and strategic coordination to a series of foundational projects aimed at transforming the UK food and farming system in areas such as food security and farming productivity. My experience managing programmes at Defra has involved risk management, data analysis, budget control, project governance, stakeholder engagement, and quality management to name a few areas.As a senior programme manager, some of my achievements include: • Leading programme spending reviews.• Implementing new project management process for teams from the ground up.• Public consultation planning and facilitation.• Information migration and standing up new information management systems.
