Brad concentrates his practice on all facets of civil litigation in state and federal courts. He is involved in all aspects of the firm’s litigation practice. He regularly defends and prosecutes class actions involving wage claims and the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act. Brad also advises and helps individuals and businesses to navigate insurance coverage matters.

First chair jury trial experience with three jury trials to verdict. Primary practice areas encompassed commercial litigation, insurance coverage and first-party and third-party insurance defense. Litigation experience included handling coverage disputes, personal injury, premises liability, products liability, class actions, adversary proceedings, and declaratory judgment actions. First-party practice concentrated on conducting examinations under oath on behalf of insurers and defending insurers in breach of contract and bad faith actions with special concentration on mortgagee claims and homeowner claims. Taken and defended hundreds of depositions, including deposing medical treaters, retained experts, litigants and witnesses.

Practice involved real estate, mainly representing third-party purchasers of foreclosed properties, performing title searches on properties prior to auctions, identifying liens and encumbrances, and appearing in court to ensure the judicial sale was approved. Litigated building and housing code violations and effected evictions of former residents. Additionally, represented buyers and sellers in residential and commercial real estate transactions. Also litigated foreclosures, including drafting of initial pleadings, motion practice, entry of judgment and sheriff’s sales.

Practice specialized in criminal law. Defended federal money laundering and mail fraud stemming from real estate fraud in federal courts, and defended DUI, assault, felony drug possession, domestic abuse, weapons violations, and summary suspension bench trials in Illinois state courts.
