CurrentSince joining gasworld’s BI Team in early 2018, I've developed my expertise and applied my analytical skills to industrial gas markets all around the world. I've worked on many gas market studies and intelligence options purchased by numerous clients worldwide, while communicating with customers directly to ascertain their specific intelligence requirements and ultimately sell them our intelligence materials.In late 2019, we travelled to the Middle East for a significant research project that required engaging with market players on the ground to conduct interviews and improve our market understanding. We visited the headquarters, sales offices and production facilities of many companies based in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Bahrain over the course of 3 weeks.In the following two years, I played a significant role in the development of our Power BI-based Country Dashboards Platform – the world's most comprehensive gas market intelligence resource that provides interactive insights for 120+ countries. My Power BI skills continue to be used for maintaining and developing this platform, while also building out new ones that aim to zoom in on particular aspects of the gases market.Today, I continue to lead and contribute to focused market studies and team effort projects that deliver essential market intelligence to clients looking to make informed strategic decisions.On occasion my writing abilities are called upon to produce an article for an edition of the gasworld magazine, making use of our gas market insights to talk about a wider topic and what trends we see developing. Additionally, I support our editorial and sales teams in a general sense by providing commentary on gas industry news and supplying data for publication in articles.
