Responsible for governance and oversight function for Americas Financial Crimes Center of Excellence (CoE). The Americas CoE provides a regional shared services model to manage financial crime risk in several key areas including Transaction Monitoring, Sanctions Screening, AML Investigations, KYC, Technology, Data Governance, MI & Reporting, Analytics, Risk Assessment, and Quality Assurance.Responsible for developing and executing workforce strategy including budget planning, workforce reporting, and forecasting.Responsible for implementing a centralized exam management function capable of monitoring timeliness, providing credible challenge to responses, and efficiently identifying and retrieving documentation.Participate in BSA/AML regulatory examinations and internal audits. Perform audit, compliance, and investigative functions related to the detection and reporting of fraudulent and/or potentially suspicious activity (Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, Patriot Act) across multiple domestic and international American Express product lines.
