Since then, I’ve played and watched as many sports as possible and my love for sports has increased immensely. Basketball and baseball are two of my favorites that I’ve participated in over the years, and they have both taken over my life. It’s become a healthy obsession for me, and I’ve learned so much through the years: hard work and dedication, teamwork, how to lose and how to come back from defeat and win. Now, as an adult, I am striving to incorporate my love and passion for sports into the business industry. The business world and the sports world are closely connected and intertwined, and with my knowledge and experience in both fields I hope to have strong influence in both. As a full-time student at Arizona State University, I am gaining necessary skills that are already making a difference in my career path. Completing courses such as Sports Ethics and International Business and Globalization, I am learning what it takes to become a successful businessperson and the time and effort that goes into building connections and incorporating business in my career.I have also successfully applied and been accepted into an internship opportunity with the Corporate Partnerships Program, a group that focuses on the business partners of Arizona State Athletics and specializes in building relationships with their executives and creating an exciting game-day experience. Each business opportunity is important to me, and I strive to learn everything I can from those experiences and apply them to my own personal abilities.As a kid, I worked hard and trained every day to be the best on the court or field. As an adult, I still have a similar mentality of working hard to achieve my goals and training every day to be the best version of myself, for my own personal success and the success of others. I’ve learned what success looks like and I’ve learned what failure feels like. Each day, I am striving to learn from my failures and win.
