Thomas Automation, Inc (TAM) is a Southwestern Virginia business that offers Automation Integration Solutions and full Machine Shop services.TAM specializes in high quality solutions including Automation Integration, Machine Rebuilds and OEM Custom Controls by providing Project Management and Scope Development, Mechanical and Electrical Design, UL508A Custom Controls, Advanced Programing (Siemans, Allen-Bradley, Beckhoff, Pilz, Cognex, Bosch-Rexroth), High Speed Innovation, Systems Networking, Visualization Systems and Operator Interface Development. TAM's machine shop began supporting mechanical production for the automation/integration projects by designing and fabricating custom mechanical parts on our HAAS TM 3P, 3-axis, CNC Milling Machine, OMAX Maxium Abrasive Water Jet Cutter and a variety of manual machining equipment. We are poised to not only continue supporting in-house mechanical builds, which cuts both time and costs from projects, but to become a high quality regional provider of machined parts.I have more than 10 years of Project Management experience in a variety of fields including Pharmaceutical Research, Microbiological Testing and Food Safety Programs. I specialize in detail oriented project scopes, quality management, time-sensitive deadlines and customers satisfaction. I have 5 years of internal auditing, corrective action and continuous improvement experience, which I use to ensure that the final product meet or exceed the customers expectations through data driven analysis of process limits and product specification performance.I have been married to my wife for since 2006 and we have two boys together. In 2016, we left the Shenandoah Valley in Central Virginia, where we had lived for 11 years plus four years of college to move to Southwest Virginia.
