Student pharmacist at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. Over the past four years, I have started to build my career in the field of drug development. I started out as an undergraduate Biomedical Engineering Research Assistant developing nanoparticle hydrogel formulations as an alternative therapy for Glioblastoma under the tutelage of Dr. John R. Clegg. Upon graduation, I worked as a formulation scientist at Catalent assisting in the manufacturing of clinical trial drugs for a variety of different therapeutic areas. As I pursue my graduate education, I am looking for opportunities to be exposed to different functional areas of the pharmaceutical industry as I build my career in the field of drug development. Outside of school and work, I am actively involved in the fitness community. Frequently competing in a variety of endurance events such as marathons and triathlons. I use my passion for endurance sports to partner with a variety of health initiatives to raise money and awareness for patients suffering from a variety of disorders such as cancer, rare disorders, and heart related issues.
