Senior Instructional Designer
CurrentFocused on developing and designing instructional materials, including curriculum for instructor manuals, student publications, classroom resources, and online courses, all grounded in "on the water" experiential learning. Collaborating with various internal stakeholders and volunteers, including National Faculty, Training Managers, and committees for Safety at Sea and Race Administration. Committed to delivering information and products across multiple media formats, such as graphics, illustrations, and videos. The overarching goal is to create effective instructional materials that are functional, intuitive, informative, and aligned with solid instructional design principles.In my role, I lead US Sailing’s initiatives to leverage technology and online learning, enhancing the scope, reach, and impact of our educational offerings through thoughtful design and project management.
