Full-time Structural Steel Draughtsman at Harold Newsome Ltd with over 2 years of experience, my role entails modelling & connecting up steelwork on Tekla Structures - providing General Arrangement, Fabrication, and Erection drawings. Working to the Architects DWG Drawings and liaising closely with the design team on board to overcome any problems that may arise. Our in-house Structural Engineers provide the specific calculations required for each project. I have worked on many projects that range in various sizes across multiple sectors of the field, each day developing my experience further. I'd consider myself a perfectionist, applying this throughout all my projects to ensure my work is up to the high standards I set myself. Going above and beyond, I built and designed the company's website out of my own interest.Freelance Graphic Designer in my spare time, having over 10 years 'experience'. From young I have always been creative and artistic, at the age of 14 I self taught myself the Adobe Products - Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign which I later progressed this knowledge at Leeds City College & Leeds Beckett University. Former Co-Owner & Founder of the Melted Magic Club, a graphic collective that produced a bi-monthly magazine showcasing local artists, designers, musicians and my own artwork - whilst writing articles about how music and art creates pop-movement and subcultures. We worked on several projects with most notably Fred Perry and had our magazine stocked in a number of bookshops across the country's big cities, including Leeds, Manchester & London.
