Curious leader and genuine. Personal traits that have defined my engineering career in reliability and product compliance. I pursue building products that improve people’s lives. Process improvement, or solving the underlying issue, motivates me.I am fortunate for developing as a reliability engineer over the course of nine years with Sub-Zero and Wolf Appliance. I performed reliability life calculations, utilizing field data and root cause analysis to understand product improvement opportunities. I carried those opportunities to completion through teamwork. Building test plans, leading DFMEA sessions, and managing field test programs are three examples of my role within the product development team. I am grateful for my experience at SZ & W, it paved a solid foundation in engineering leadership and business practice that I have built upon.The next chapter of my career started at Trek Bicycle Corporation as electrical product compliance engineer. Here I expanded previous skills, such as test plan design, to encompass product safety standards and the regulatory requirements necessary to launch products internationally. I leveraged my previous EMC test experience and lab management from Sub-Zero building robust technical files and CB schemes for Trek’s aftermarket electrical products.Key Accomplishments• Launched the latest Sub-Zero professional refrigeration line. Specifically led a $1.2M field test program to gather customer feedback and validate design changes.• Delivered $2M of warranty cost reduction to Sub-Zero working in a product support role. Produced executive reports via SAS and Power BI, the data visualization tools highlighting opportunity and tracking progress through completion.• Maintained product compliance test requirements and technical files for an international aftermarket electronics portfolio at Trek.• Refreshed Trek’s internal product compliance SharePoint site. Increased efficiency of standards and technical file retrieval through managed metadata document sets. Published quarterly compliance newsletters.• Summarized the evolving regulatory landscape to Trek engineering teams. Including EU battery regulation developments, right to repair laws, lithium-ion battery safety standards and various bicycle standards.
