Currently employed as a Senior Consultant with GloblalLogic UK and deployed at LBG.20 years experience working in banking sector IT. Roles include Operations, Packaging & Deployment, Active Directory, Wintel, Virtualisation, IT Security, Migration, Architecture and Cloud. I began my career with the Halifax - which became HBOS - which then integrated with Lloyds to become LBG. I was a key stakeholder in both of the integration projects as well as the HBOS "Platform Transformation Project" - the migration from NT4 to XP / 2003. During my time at the bank I was constantly involved in regulatory banking projects. Before leaving LBG I was involved in delivering the strategic route to live environments for "Verde" - the EC mandated business disposal of part of the bank, as well as delivering environments for LBG's Desktop Transformation Project - the move from XP to Windows 7/8. On joining ECS in Leeds in 2014 I was initially deployed on 2 major Barclay's projects. Firstly CIGLS, a major global IT security project to ensure the banks systems are monitored for and maintained to the very latest security standards, where I performed an IT security Vulnerability Scanning role using McAfee Vulnerability Manager 7.5. Secondly I was involved in the Fusion project migrating users to strategic domains & desktop builds. After my move to Scotland in 2015 I was deployed as a User migration SME for LBG's “Desktop Transformation Project” Managed Service for over 2 years – migrating tens of thousands of users from Windows XP to Windows 7 and from legacy to strategic domains. After a 12 month engagement as a Wintel Consultant for PGDS (Prudential) I returned to LBG on the Windows Server Migration Project and am currently working on the LBG Tech Optimisation programme.I am delivery focused and a confident communicator and specialise in service improvement and automation using my extensive scripting knowledge. I prefer to lead initiatives and projects, either in a team or equally as comfortably as an individual.
