Although initially brought on to lighten the Program Coordinator's administrative workload, my previous work with the Director and the program as a whole led to the production of a variety of promotional and instructional materials that they could not otherwise have managed. Accomplishments while serving in this capacity:- Maintained the attendance database for a half-day program with more than 150 students and prepared daily attendance reports for the eleven associated high schools- Compiled photos and messages from alumni dating back more than 30 years and developed page layouts in order to produce a 20+ page photobook for a retiring teacher- Developed a new curriculum for the program’s Photoshop technology lab, including detailed written walkthroughs and visual references- Assisted the program Director and Program Coordinator in matters of written communication, including proofreading, editing, and writing new copy- Interfaced with parents of current and prospective students by phone, providing program information and updates and relaying detailed messages as needed- Produced graphics for use on the program’s social media as well as digital signage displayed around the facility during tours and special events- Oversaw the translation of student-made playing card graphics from raster graphics to vector illustrations and the preparation of graphics for professional printing

Accomplishments while serving in this capacity:- Collaborated with the program Director to develop videos to appeal to prospective students by highlighting the unique opportunities offered by CVGS’ two-year program- Organized and conducted interviews with students and faculty to produce a comprehensive program overview video to be shown at recruitment events- Contributed to the photo and video coverage of the end-of-year senior recognition ceremony

My involvement with University of Lynchburg Theatre began while I was a student in the program. During my senior year, I oversaw the production of a series of videos to promote the spring production of "Into the Woods" on Facebook. This collaboration lead to numerous collaborations since I graduated.Accomplishments while serving in this capacity:- Collaborated with the Department Chair and Technical Director to produce a weekly video series featuring solos and scenes performed by students- Oversaw the recording and post-production of mainstage productions for online distribution and archival purposes- Collaborated with the Department Chair, professors, and students to produce a department overview video to serve as a centerpiece of the department’s web page- Assessed twenty years’ worth of department archival photos to determine the most effective images to be featured in promotional content

While my primary responsibilities with One Way Out revolve around ensuring that players have the best experience possible while playing One Way Out's rooms, my involvement with company quickly took on creative responsibilities as well. Accomplishments while serving in this capacity:- Streamlined the flowcharts used by game hosts to track the progress of individual games and implemented writing methods that made referring between flowcharts and the puzzle explanations more efficient- Produced detailed, easily searchable guidebooks for the business’ escape rooms, including flowcharts, detailed puzzle explanations, and hint suggestions- Spearheaded the creative direction of three of the business’ escape rooms- Contributed to the installation of six of the business’ escape rooms, constituting more than half of the company’s offerings since its establishment- Oversaw the pre-production, shooting, and post-production of video advertisements promoting the business’ escape rooms and special offers- Coordinated the development and design of appropriately challenging and visually pleasing puzzles to be posted on the company’s social media pages

In this capacity, I assisted in the twice-monthly broadcasts of school board meetings and work sessions as well as contributing to coverage of various events within the school system including graduations, commencements, and school plays.

Academic Support Teams (AST) was started as an online tutoring company determined to aid students who were struggling with the sudden shift to online learning in 2020. Accomplishments while serving in this capacity:- Provided technical support to instructors and students during online group tutoring sessions- Authored and compiled meeting notes to create detailed reports on student engagement trends and comprehensive overviews of instructional content- Wrote, produced, and provided voiceover for a seven-part video series designed to instruct new technology facilitators in their responsibilities and the best practices for using Zoom and Google Classroom
