As a Project Manager, I am responsible for managing construction projects to ensure the projects are completed successfully. The projects I have worked on range from $13 million to $50 million and are a mix of urban and rural reconstructs.

As a Project Manager, my responsibilities included contract management for public and private clients, material procurement, work force scheduling, attending project meetings, and working with owner representatives. As an Estimator, I prepared bid documents and project strategies to competitively bid many WisDOT, Municipal/County, and private projects.

I managed the delivery of rural and urban construction projects throughout southeastern Wisconsin. The cost of projects I managed varied from $500k to over $30 million. I also actively managed consultant staff and budgets to balance the work load with expectations.

SE Region, Project Development - Unit 8As a Construction Leader, I am responsible for the delivery of let projects by using Field Manager for contract work, materials review/acceptance, coordination with contractors, and communication with businesses and local officials. Projects include roadway reconstruction, maintenance, and rehabilitation throughout the SE Region. SE Region, Project Development - Unit 5As a Design Leader on multiple projects, I am responsible for the development of the projects from scoping to PS&E. This process involves coordination with other WisDOT/FHWA staff, local officials, utilities, and consultants. The development of plans, design and environmental reports, and quantities are my other responsibilities.

As a Design Engineer, I develop plan sets, quantity calculations, and cost estimates for our many clients. I have experience working with the municipalities, counties, and the Iowa DOT. Other responsibilities include inspection of municipal and DOT projects, pay estimates, change orders, and daily reports.

I performed inspection on reconstruction of city streets, including the setting of street grades, placing of forms and concrete for sidewalk, and paving of streets. I was responsible for the inspection of watermain, sanitary and storm sewers. I also prepared daily construction reports and final plan updates for the City’s records.

My primary responsibilities were construction staking and surveying for municipal, county, and Wisconsin DOT projects. I also drafted many projects using AutoCAD Land Desktop 2005 and prepared quantity estimates. I also worked the summers of 2005 and 2006 with the same responsibilities.
