As part of the temp ops team, responsible for operations, regulatory compliance, controls, risk, investigations, and operationalizing policy, for temporary staff at Alphabet. Also oversee staffing partners, suppliers, and our managed service provider (MSP). Managed pay parity program for equal treatment countries.

As a recently promoted operations manager in the Finance organization, I manage a team of ten and our contingent workforce system.

I manage a team of ten and our contingent workforce (sometimes called vendor management) system. Its name is Coupa Contingent Workforce (CCW), known to some as Smart Track, and I managed the vendorization of the team in 2020.

As a member of the Solutions team within the People Operations org, I provide HR solutions using Workday (our Human Capital Management system).

Manage company-wide programs such as employee recognition, and the employee engagement survey.Accomplishments:- Managed selection process tool for company-wide employee recognition program- Helped organize/facilitate committee selection sessions to filter from over 600 nominees to under 40 finalists- Led translation and testing workstreams for company-wide employee engagement survey, resulting in a robust survey translated into five non-English languages

Manage Workday enhancement deliverySignificant accomplishments:- Succeeded in canceling a program called Elevated Background Checks, described by the program owner as "a huge win that will save us roughly $15,500 per year and a great deal of time/effort"- Received kudos from the Chief Development Officer for passing two annual cycles of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) testing with no exceptions to the HR controls- Managed my team's support ticketing system (ServiceNow), as well as our Workday enhancement delivery process- resulting in better communication and greater efficiency- Delivered several complex Workday configurations, including the Finance region hierarchy, Special Content Editor custom object, proxy access, disability & veteran forms, stock approvals, counteroffer workflow, I-9/E-Verify/Reverification, and HR security role architecture.

As a member of the HR Solutions team, I deliver business process and compliance solutions. Through managing projects and configuring Workday, I help resolve issues and ensure HR transactions run smoothly.

I perform regulatory compliance (e.g. SOX, IRCA, and FMLA), budgeting, and training functions in my role as HR Compliance Practice Lead. I also track and respond to requests from our external and internal audit partners.I manage business process changes as the HR Business Process Analyst. I lead the project management side of HR application deployments (e.g. a Workday module) and perform legal analysis on our compliance with HR regulations.Recently, I assisted with implementation of a project that transitioned our HR SaaS from PeopleSoft HR to Workday. Additionally, I successfully project managed Workday Time Tracking, delivering a result that met requirements on time and under budget. I also joined with the core compensation team to complete a focal evaluation in the production environment of the Compensation Decision Tool. Last, I coordinated an intranet redesign project in addition to performing analysis in support of the HRIS, Benefits, Payroll, Global Mobility, and Compensation teams.

I manage landlord-tenant cases, civil litigation, and other duties as assigned. My work fits the traditional, stereotypical perception of legal representation: sending demand letters, performing legal research, consulting with clients, filing documents, hiring process servers, interacting with courts, etc.

I maintain and update the social media and websites for ProselemUSA, as well as other online marketing tasks. I also draft documents relating to industry regulation by the FDA, and manage trademark filing with the USPTO.

While waiting for my bar results, I worked as a tutor with students preparing for admissions tests (SAT & ACT). Over the past few years I've done contract and private tutoring for high school, college, and graduate students preparing for the LSAT, SAT, ACT, & in many subjects such as geometry, algebra, biodiversity, human anatomy, and physics. GearUp (a nonprofit) and Kaplan are two other past employers in the tutoring biz.

I performed law and logic research with Professor Brett Scharffs. I also researched family law topics for Professor Lynn Wardle.I was also a research assistant for Professor Don Adolphson in the Marriott School of Management. Our work resulted in a business ethics case at the prestigious Darden School.Caprica Energy and its Choices. Darden School of Business, University of Virginia, March 2011. D. Adolphson, S. Bodily, J. Completed law school. Took California Bar in July 2011; passed in November 2011.

After our primary facility (Spanish Fork Jail) cut our volunteer inmate tutoring program, I led a substantial program recovery initiative resulting in placement at three new detention facilities, including the Utah State Prison.

Managed 9 sessions of a week-long church camp, supervising an average staff team of 45.Each week ensured the successful operation of 27 events for, cumulatively, approximately 2,500 teenagers.Solved hundreds of hiring, health, scheduling, training, media, housing, staff relations, and logistical problems.

Drafted research reports on legal issues, wrote case briefs, and composed a prehearing memorandum. I was charged with advising the Court on a post-conviction petition case. The court adopted my proposed ruling and reasoning in their final opinion. Vavold v. State, 218 P.3d 388 (2009)
