PowerWells is a Social Enterprise, based out of Logan. Over a billion people lack access to electricity, we aim to combat this using electronic waste and recycling lithium-ion batteries to provide a cheaper alternative source of energy. We provide small household solar systems with PAYG technology, to make energy more affordable.

AMPLFY is a Social Enterprise, which focuses on building high quality portable speakers, made from up-cycled components and new components, which are encased in ex-military surplus ammunition cases. The enterprise seeks to support disengaged youth by re-engaging them in education through enjoyable workshop experiences.AMPLFY is a graduate of the Impact Academy accelerator program, and has since partnered up with social enterprises, Substation33, Traction and The Y.

In partnership with Brisbane Housing Corporation, Coffee Cart Connections offers residents and neighbors meaningful chances to connect over coffee while learning introductory skills in operating a commercial coffee machine, enabling them to explore potential career avenues.The coffee cart, powered by reclaimed EV batteries and solar panels, is a result of Substation33 and PowerWells' innovative endeavors in recycling electronic waste. Serving as an engaging conversation starter, it highlights the missions of Substation33 and PowerWells while encouraging individuals to engage in their diverse employment pathway programs.

The Global Shapers Community is the youth initiative of the World Economic Forum. Shapers are a network of 7000 young people working to solve local, regional and/or global challenges, achievements, leadership potential, and commitment to make a difference. Members are selected based on the on the basis of their achievements, leadership potential, and commitment to make a difference.

TRACTION is a not-for-profit organisation that empowers vulnerable young people to discover, connect and realise their own positive and successful future.For young people, TRACTION offers the chance to re-purpose bicycles and motorbikes in an action-based learning environment of creativity, empowerment and ownership, while being supported by encouraging relationships, community and employment opportunities. TRACTION enables participants to develop skills and confidence, knowledge and experience across a wide range of disciplines.For Schools, TRACTION provides the opportunity to better help students who may be struggling to find their way through traditional schooling.For Stakeholders (including Volunteers, Sponsors, Donors, Corporate and other Partners, Ambassadors, Participants and Mentors), TRACTION provides a platform for people to make a difference.

Substation33 is a Logan based Social Enterprise, which provides a helping hand to those who need it. At Substation33, we provide a culture of learning to teach people the benefits of utilizing electronic waste and how to build and create innovative products, such as 3D printers, Electronic Bikes, Charging Stations for the Homeless and Smart Road Flooded Signs.
