As a Geotechnical Field Logger, I specialize in logging samples from drill and excavation operations for composition analysis. I am also a Site Project Coordinator, wherein I direct the drill crews and traffic control crews to safely get the jobs done. My lab expertise encompasses Atterberg, Concrete Cylinder Compression, Sulfate Concentration, Moisture Content, and Hydrometer operations to name a few. Beyond hands-on work, I contribute to report writing, compiling, and preliminary tasks for geotechnical reports. I also manage administrative aspects, including work orders, and utility location requests.

This was centered on helping to set up the brand new Mayer Museum. The museum had not yet opened while I was working for them and there were a large number of collections that had to be cataloged. Cataloging included, but was not limited to, determining sample type, what fossils were in the sample if any, the age of the sample, where the sample came from, and the collection that the sample came from. I assisted with the classification of over 300 samples of various rocks, artifacts, minerals, and fossils. On top of that, I also helped to develop informational kiosks about various prehistoric creatures. Large amounts of data were logged in this project to ensure that the museum had a good record-keeping system once it opened.
