Completed a functional pilot launch within 3 months of concept & requirements determination. Screened, interviewed, and selected programmers to join the application implementation team. Worked with 3rd party auditors to get the application platform certified for SAS70 and PCI requirements.Developed a release process that allowed rapid prototype functionality to be released into the system without disturbing the stable pilot platform. This process provides for isolation of development / staging / production environments. When releasing code, it synchronizes a farm of 100+ production servers. Also developed a complete configuration management approach for the platform, including developer accounts/environments, secure subversion repository, and a code revision / tagging system to identify release functionality.Implemented necessary performance improvements, including ability to scale over 10x the traffic of the original pilot application.
