I have worked within the computer industry and Information Technology (IT) profession for more than 21 years. In that time I have worked in both technical positions, as well as management of people and technology. Throughout that time in my professional career I have also working with and helped programmers when they were short handled or needing to learn new technologies, and I have recently applied that to iPhone application developmentMy proven technical skills include working with networks and network configurations and designs. Also working with routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems. I also have experience with Windows Server installation and Active Directory design and implementation. I have implemented email systems, both Lotus Domino systems and Microsoft Exchange. In addition to the server side I have also worked with desktop installation and software installation. This includes Windows operating systems of all flavors of Windows up through Windows Vista, and the office software and other applications that reside on top like Office 2003 and 2007. I have also worked with Linux and Mac OS X operating systems and many of their applications.As a manager, I have managed local and remote technical support teams. This includes teams of desktop and server technicians, and also teams of network and telephony communications engineers. I have done basic project management of projects utilizing these teams and technology. I have also managed capitol and operating budgets of a 2 million dollars or more each. Other skills include programming skills. While i never worked as a full time programmer, I have utilized VB scripting, VB, C, and C# to write small utilities and against Active Directory and LDAP for many projects or to enhance productivity of the previously mentioned areas. I have also done iPhone Application Development.
