About Brad Henning

What started out as an interesting internship at Harley-Davidson Motor Company turned into a full-time career in IT. Over the years I have worked my way up to developing, implementing, maintaining and supporting technical solutions for large enterprises. The list of accomplishments and areas of focus is long...and honestly will never stop growing as I always aim to keep learning and pushing my limits. I am passionate about what I do as a senior systems analyst and working in Healthcare IT brings a whole new level of satisfaction since I get to help people directly and indirectly. When presented with the opporuntity to engineer and completely build out a solution from the ground up, both business partners and colleagues alike notice the gleam in my eye and the extra drive. My personal favorite question is when someone asks “Can we do xyz”? It literally is an open invitation to collaborate and transform the status quo. While I am a versatile and dedicated IT professional...I am also a bit of an aviation geek. Someday I hope there is a way to blend both passions.

    This is the role that allowed me to work with end users, learn a brand new technology stack and develop an enterprise focused mindset. The highlights were:- Rolling out Vocera to multiple hospitals.- Saving the company over $250,000 (adjusted for inflation) on the final Vocera project by designing the build, handling workshops and then executing the entire deployment. - Creating custom builds and workflows that met the customer needs and pushed the product capabilities to the max. - Designing a solid Telecommunications Disaster Recovery Plan that proved to be useful on multiple occasions. *There is something to said about knowing that your efforts indirectly impacted the lives of 100's if not 1000's of people.- Learning a brand new technology (NEC and Avaya PBX systems) and becoming an expert.
