In collaboration with European Astrotech, Project Scorpion was the conduction of experiments on the stratosphere around 33KM above sea level. The experiments included recording the behaviour of copper and iron based blood samples, the effects of cosmic radiation and deciding if layer type parachutes are a more efficient approach to tackling problems such as non-vertical descents. The experiment was successful and the data was assessed by European Astrotech.My Role was managing a team of 12 pupils made up of Computing and Physics students to meet deadlines and find solutions to the problems faced in Space.
