The forming coil induces eddy currents in the work piece that are repulsive in nature to initial forming current. This repulsive force causes high speed deformation. Used a fiber optic sensor to capture the velocity of the work piece during deformation.- Performed various testing procedures on the response and behavior of the fiber optic sensor.
