CurrentMy experience at The Standard has been one of similar experiences and one of new. Mornings at the bar are the typical setup, difference being each morning it is the bartender's duty to travel down into the depths of the hotel to the Purchasing Department to gather the extra products for back stock. Shifts are usually slow which gives me the opportunity to meet and talk with the guests of the hotel. Guests come from all around the world, they are always interested in sitting at the bar and having good conversations. My goal is to give our guests the best possible service they can experience so that when they visit the states they think of The Standard first.
