Conesville SCR's budget was $75,000,000. I had two direct employees and projected average man power is 120 men until the outage. The outage manpower projections are approximately 400 men. I also consult with other division managers to help implement strategies and best practices regarding project controls. I perform project analysis for litigation (Forensic Planning) and arbitration purposes for Enerfab, using primavera and document controls as my primary documentation disclosures.2006 Project Manager - Balanced Draft Conversion. Perform the installation of reinforcements to the Unit 1 Research Cottrell precipitator and associated duct work to structurally fortify the associated flue gas path to handle the new addition of I.D fans. I am responsible for a $35,000,000 budget and three subcontractors. Scope includes insulation, structural reinforcement and scaffold. Daily responsibilities include management of 3 subcontractors, management of a range of 50 to 300 direct hire craft personnel and 10 field administrative personnel (general supt., supt. admin, field engineers, and scheduler). -

This schedule was approximately 21,000 activities that incorporated 24 contractors. I measured progress of all parties involved to cross reference progress billings from the respective contractors. Used cost to completion reports to forecast expenditures and labor costs. Used X-bar and R-bar charts to measure the projects variability and perform root cause analysis to identify problem area and implemented the standard kaizan problem solving processes (DMAIC - Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) -

The project was a great success and finished on time and significantly under budget.2003 Became more involved in Project Manager/Contract Manager roles, Negotiated superheat and reheat change outs at AEP, (1300mw) Amos station, (1,300mw) Mountaineer Station, and (800mw) Cardinal Station. These contract budgets were worth approximately 7,000,000 each. The Amos project was completed in 8 weeks (the shortest duration ever achieved for this particular project) there were 147 reheats and 146 superheats this was achieved by designing a rigging process that facilitated removal and installation at the same time. -
