Manage the advertising, editorial, circulation, production and accounting functions. I provide sales leadership by determining and driving revenue goals, implementing sales strategies and actively pursuing sales opportunities. I also prioritize and accomplish multiple management tasks within established time frames by effectively planning and managing workload.

Critiqued and monitored the operations of the Advertising, Circulation and Customer Service departments. Also during my term I worked with engineers to identify mistakes and problem solved during a transition between two customized business systems. This project was at a stand still until I took over.

(Summers)Working with 300 campers, 100 counselors for 8 weeks. Was a baseball and waterski instructor. Also became a certified lifeguard.

Plan and implement comprehensive sales programs comprised of lead generation, cold-calling, face-to-face and telephone presentations, and business/account development to see advertising campaigns to both local and national accounts. Direct all phases of the sales cycle (from prospecting, opportunity identification, negotiation, proposal, and close). Additionally, contributed to marketing efforts, including designing seasonal ad programs.
