• Created a new Department with my role being EMEA manager. My original focus was to support the Origination and Structuring desks primarily focusing on Special Purpose Vehicle issuances and UCITS. My scope has now grown to include Risk Vs Ledger reconciliations for EMEA Equity and Fixed Income along with Exchange reconciliations.• Developed Key Risk Indicators (KRI’s), Risk Quotient (RQ) models and RCSA frameworks to monitor the functions supported in line with Basel’s Operational Risk Framework recommendations.• Developed a Global Risk Dashboard which now automates daily management risk reporting, KRI’s and analytics for weekly MD risk meetings. The data now also forms the basis of our root cause analysis for the global management group.• Developed Business Intelligence (BI) models to cost support provided to the business. Models are now leveraged for headcount discussions and budget forecasting.• Regional New Activity Committee (RNAC) EMEA lead for my Organisation. My role is to review any new business (RNAC) and understand how it will impact the firm and the teams within my organisation. It requires me to highlight the risks involved, the controls in place to mitigate these (if any) and document any required build to support the business prior to acceptance.• Managing audits for my department with internal audit, external audit and compliance. Worked closely with KPMG and PWC.• Vendor Manager for several GSI relationships with external service providers e.g. Bank Of New York, HSBC and Deutsche Bank. Due diligence, monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and reviewing service level breaches are key responsibilities.

Supported the Global Correlation trading desk, the Global Principal Funding and Investment trading desk and Special Purpose Vehicle note issuances.• Ensured Front Office operates within GS and market regulation while developing ideas and solutions for issuing new bespoke structures for our clients.• Focused on reducing costs by analysing the businesses supported. Presented to our Divisional Head showcasing how GS could streamline our Global Correlation support model and reduce operational costs for the firm.• Attended weekly Operational Risk meetings to discuss our Risk Quotient (RQ) models. On a quarterly basis I managed the RCSA process and sign off.• Part of a sub team which worked on EMIR regulation. Implemented reporting workflows for the PIPG business ensuring ESMA compliance. Worked through post go-live remediation issues along with industrialising infrastructure to ensure a scalable, efficient and controlled framework.

• Designing and implementing mandatory clearing global workflows alongside the business to ensure compliance with CFTC ruling while facilitating the needs of the GS Franchise itself. • Supporting the London CDS, ELCDS & ASW trading & sales desks along with being actively involved with ICE Clearing & TriOptima. • Managing and maintaining traders risk books coupled with providing daily support.• Maintaining new and existing client relationships by dealing with queries directed by Sales and other Operational Client facing teams. • Developed a strong understanding of GS process infrastructure to help deliver improved support and risk management. • Creating improved risk mitigation solutions for the desk and operations along with stream lining workflows. • Producing analysis and metrics for senior management and the desk to accurately report weekly volume per risk stripe.

• Effectively time managed daily work around various currency cut offs and prioritised accordingly.• Developed strong relationships with many teams within GS along with external clients ensuring the best service was delivered.• Managed the Structured Products roll partnering with external vendors, the business and the Structured Products Middle office. Adapted and developed a framework for handling the process increasing the level of client service delivered, processing efficiency and risk management. • Worked with the firm’s treasury team daily to ensure GS was funded and able to meet its settlement obligations.
