Through strategically located food reserves, processors and disaster response organizations have a dependable source of food in the region. WFB stabilizes markets by buying at harvest when there is an abundance to keep prices from dipping too low. I began my career at JPM as an analyst on the U.S. Bond Futures trading desk, in the open outcry trading pits at the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT). I’ve held a variety of roles across the Investment Bank during my tenure with the firm, including:Global Markets - Client Solutions, Cross-Product Client Relationship Manager: covering top hedge funds, family offices, central banks, global asset managers and other major trading counterparties, across listed & OTC derivatives and fixed income prime brokerage (futures & options, FX, interest rate swaps and CDS).Corporate Finance - Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) - Client Intelligence, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer of Investment Banking - spearheaded effort to roll-out Salesforce to 10,000+ bankers globally - the largest implementation in the financial services industry at the time. I also opened an office in Mumbai (Bombay), becoming one of the first groups in the investment bank to offshore functions to India.IB Global Risk Management- Industry & Country Concentration Risk Manager. Assigned risk grades to countries and geographies and produced monthly reports for senior management and the Board to monitor RWA and proactively mitigate risk during market dislocations. Consultancy with the United Nations (U.N.) Office of The Secretary General - NGLS.Worked on a special commission setup to address global financial architecture reform in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis. This effort was led by Columbia University Economist and Nobel Laureate, Dr. Joseph L. Stiglitz and sponsored by U.N. Secretary General, Ban Ki Moon. Final recommendations were published and presented to the General Assembly at the ECOSOC conference in May, 2009.
