As a Co Manager I was hired to learn all aspects of the business in order to promote and manage my own facility. After 11 months in my position I was given the opportunity to do just that. I was tasked with the assembly of my own team along with the setup and opening of a brand new facility in Altus, OK. I have ran this facility for 2+ years now where our sales continue to grow year after year. We currently do $3.4 million dollars a year and plan to continue increasing year over year. As the manager I am responsible for all aspects of the business including hiring/firing, coaching, teaching and training, managing all financial aspects from sales and profit to budgeting payroll and examining and cutting budgets for maintenance and repair and all other aspects of the monthly ledger. I insure that customer service remains the directive in this facility by direct customer service, in stock and cleanliness. We strive to insure every person that enters our store is as happy with their experience as we are.

I promoted through all levels of management with the company up to managing facilities with 500+ direct reports. I was given the opportunity to assist with the expansion of several company processes including the revival of the food/fresh aspect of the business. I underwent several certifications where I was trained and was able to teach hundreds of managers and associates the entire process of all food and fresh areas in the stores. As a facilitator and leader I shared my passion for process, cleanliness, customer service and business. Following that, my career with Walmart also allowed me the opportunity to develop and manage multiple market teams in the company in the development of pickup today and the revival of the layaway process.
