I am involved in a several new business ventures (including the amazing MediMassager and the most modern and healthy way to clean the air in your home) after recently retiring after a 35+ year career as an I/S professional. I started as a developer and moved into management in 1982. From there I have had experience in many areas of I/S across many platforms and technologies. I have been responsible for as many as 70 people at any given time managing multi-million dollar strategic projects for my company. I retired as VP of Application Development & Support in February, 2015. I am a certified PMP with the Project Management Institute, certified in ITIL v3 Foundations and a founding Board of Directors member for the PMI Montgomery AL Chapter. I enjoy the strategic aspects of business, coming up with creative ideas on ways to improve and/or grow the business, although my primary role is implementation of systems and solutions that support the strategic direction of the company. I am very interested in personal and professional growth and enjoy sharing and mentoring others with similar interests.Specialties: Project management, IT Governance, Business Intelligence, capacity planning, resource management, and an exposure and understanding of a wide range of systems and technologies allow me work effectively on virtually any type of opportunity presented.
