In my career in Ready Mixed Concrete, I have experienced several sides to the business. I started my career as an Order Entry Specialist, and moved into Dispatch. Following 2 years as a Dispatcher, I transitioned to the Quality Control Laboratory where I was responsible for materials testing and mix design development, as well as field job site quality control. Following QC, I advanced into a Sales Representative role. As a Sales Professional, I have been involved in three major markets, Denver, CO the Dallas TX market, and now the greater New Orleans market as General Manager, managing and completing major projects in all markets, responsible for $20+ million in sales annually. Following my stint as Commercial Sales Manager I was appointed Regional Sales Manager for Value Added Products, covering DFW, Houston, and Louisiana. In this role, I was tasked with market creation, penetration, and maintenance of LafargeHolcim's proprietary products within the Region through needs based selling. I was then appointed General Manager for the New Orleans Ready Mix group, tasked with management of the business both operationally and financially. Most recently, I was asked to return to Texas to function in a Regional Performance Manager role over the TX/LA region. In this role, I have been given responsibility for working directly with the operations, sales, and dispatch teams to improve performance across the business. Additionally in my career with LafargeHolcim, I have been appointed to national corporate teams to create a Customer Relationship Management tool to work in concert with Salesforce.com, including business requirements, blueprinting, and user acceptance testing. I have also been identified as a Regional Key User for multiple systems including Google Mail, Salesforce.com, and Qlikview. In my career I have been fortunate to work with very skilled and well qualified people along the way both internally and externally.
