As a behaviour transformation (BT) specialist within Sasol Mining I was part of the central SHE team which serviced 5 mining business units. My role specifically focused on enabling leadership to understand the safety climate and culture within their business through diagnostics. I worked as part of the research team, assisting in developing and validating psychometric scales for the South African population. Along with this I assisted in research tasks such as literature reviews, report generation and data analysis. Particular to the psychometric analysis I gained experience in the use of SPSS for conducting an Exploratory Factor Analysis; Amos for the purposes of the Confirmatory Factor Analysis and also Qualtrics for survey and report generation.
