I defend complex product liability and fire cases for small, medium and large (Fortune 500) manufacturing companies and their distributors. I have represented manufacturers of tools, electrical components, scaffolding and lifts, tires, paint, automatic doors, machinery, backhoes and other heavy industrial equipment. I also defend manufacturers of complex heat exchangers, chemical pumping systems and other industrial systems.I am a nationally certified fire fighter serving the Penn Wynne/Overbrook Hills Fire Company (Lower Merion Fire Department) as both a firefighter and its president. I hold over 60 different fire and rescue certifications. My background in fire fighting helps me to strategically defend cases on behalf of manufacturers of electrical components, electricians and others alleged to have started fires.I am the author of "Pennsylvania Products Liability," now in its 5th edition, published by ALM and The Legal Intelligencer. I frequently present on product liability and construction defect/fire defense litigation topics at national and regional legal and insurance industry conferences, as well as at Temple University, Drexel University and The University of Wisconsin.
