The Asset Management business improvement role was focused on improving process and systems that support the Maintenance and Asset Management functions. The projects that I was involved in were contractor management project, developing the store and logistics kitting and staging process, store and logistics inventory review/optimization and develop the store and logistics parts return process.Contractor management project - Reduction of contractor spend by $10m/year achieved by:- Introducing a new contractor time sheeting process- Restricting site access to only approved and budgeted contractors- Develop cost control systems to manage contractor spendKitting and Staging, develop process to ensure the correct spare parts are delivered onsite,on time when the work is scheduled to be carried out.Improve store returns, reducing waste in over processing parts not required or incorrectquantities for the work.
