Texas A&M University's Sport Management program was elected by the Department of State to become a key player in Fusion Arts Exchange [FAX], due to its expert knowledge and monumental research endeavors commonly known within the sport industry.Through this program, Texas A&M University housed and educated students from 6 different nations (Indonesia, Nigeria, Russia, Turkey, Venezuela,and the United States) through various hands on and in-classroom experiences. The phenomenal nature of this program afforded staff and students alike the opportunity to meet with and learn from executives of the NBA, MLS, Orlando Magics corporate division, Disney Wide World of Sport, and even some grassroots level organizations. Thus, allowing the opportunity to activate the knowledge learned in the classroom to strategically advance the global experience with the economic, social, and political tools housed within that of Sport.An experience this fulfilling can only be described in one way, It was a once-in-a-lifetime type experience!
