About Brad Ball

In the past few years, I’ve developed a real passion for Android development. Currently I lead the Android engineering team at twinspires.com. Before Android, I worked extensively with Angular (and AngularJS) building web based applications for Twinspires.I've been developing web and mobile applications professionally for over 20 years. Starting with HTML and CSS, from PHP3 to PHP7, from classic ASP through ASP.NET with C#, and on to modern front-end javascript frameworks like Angular, I've consistently and continually been working to become a better developer, each and every day.When I was in 7th grade, we were given a project to complete in the computer lab, which was full of Apple IIe computers. I had about 5 sheets of paper with a bunch of weird code on it that I had to re-type into the computer. I would later realize it was BASIC. After fixing my typos and other mis-types, I pressed the enter key to run the resulting program … A large ASCII art snowflake filled the screen and flashed in an endless rainbow of colors. From that moment I was hooked, and I knew that I would spend the rest of my life making computers do cool things…When I’m not behind the keyboard, you can find me hanging out with my amazing wife Kerry and our 8 and 10 year old boys. I also love golf and cycling, and still try to get to as many Phish shows as I can.
