About Dave Bradshaw

Since leaving the Royal Navy in 1987, I moved to Stevenage to start my career in the IT industry. During my career, I have worked my way up to a managerial role. I am a highly focused man manager who has the ability to project manage a number of multi-platform projects to ensure that the delivery is concise and meets all requirements. Dixons use a modified methodology of Prince2 for project management. I have managed all support teams within the IS Services Department at Dixons and I have completed the ITIL Service Management Foundation Course.Specialties: Ex Royal Navy with no specific qualifications. Just experience of life and just getting on with the job at hand.....!

They were responsible for monitoring all the computer room hardware, responding to tape mounts and monitoring the overnight batch work, which consisted of about 5,000 jobs per night across 3 platforms.I was responsible for organising the installation of all hardware into the computer room which included, the power, network, SAN and gigabit connectivity. This also included the ongoing support of all hardware within the computer roomMy biggest achievement during this role was to manage the relocation of the computer room. This involved the design of the new premises and the planning of the hardware migration.
