About Brad Simmons
Brad has extensive experience with the investigation and management of PFAS contamination. Since 2017 Brad has predominantly worked on major PFAS projects for the federal government including the Department of Defence and DITRDCA. Most recently Brad was the Technical Director during the establishment of the DITRDCA PFAS Investigation Program (including as an author of the PFAS Investigation Framework).Brad was also seconded to EPA Victoria to be the lead author of several guideline documents related to groundwater remediation and management of human health risks. Brad’s experience includes extensive assessment, remediation and auditing of contaminated sites including the redevelopment of former commercial/industrial sites for residential use and has also worked as the Technical Director / Project Manager for several large-scale remediation projects for a range of complex sites including former Gasworks, Chemicals Manufacturing, Aviation and Defence sites. Brad also has extensive experience in business development and management having held senior roles (i.e., State level) in both areas during his career.
