Brad S. Email and Phone Number
My goal is to create objects of desire. Things that are more than things...they become a part of your life.I am the Senior Design Manager for Wilson Racquet Sports with over 20 years of design experience. I work closely with VPs, GMs, Directors, Collaboration Partners and Pros. I am responsible for the design direction and development of hardgoods and equipment bags for all Racquet Sports categories. These include: tennis, padel, pickleball, badminton, racquet ball, squash, diagnostics machines and accessories...as well as, emerging sports and blue sky initiatives.I believe that successful design solves problems by being iterative and user centered. Projects carry a high risk of failure when the 'Who' and 'Why' are overlooked. I also believe in asking a crucial question when designing….’Why Not?’I have extensive experience with strategic planning, conceptualizing, producing and executing products and their graphics for a variety of categories: sporting goods, soft goods, consumer office products, and small kitchen appliances. These creations have engineering, aesthetic, UX and UI needs requiring buy-in from multidisciplinary stakeholders. My projects have won both Red Dot and Good Design awards, as well as, being flag ship product lines that drive company profitability and brand awareness.I work closely with groups consisting of Leadership, Marketing, Engineering, Sourcing, Finance, and Operations, as well as, with multidisciplinary teams in the UK, EU, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China. This diverse background gives me a unique, holistic view of design, and it’s roll in inspirational and viable product development.
