Grew our business with IMCO, expanded the NDC warehouse program 10-fold, obtained vendor numbers from Cardinal, McKesson and Owens & Minor and gained significant new business in the OEM arena. I was managing some 35 Independent Representatives and nearly 500 distributors before being asked to head up a new OEM division, reporting directly to the President in March of 2005 and within 5 months was at 96% of plan. My position was eliminated in a departmental restructuring and company downsizing.

Managed 4 direct reports and 50 Independent Manufacturer Representatives. Sales were nearly $9 million in 1998, with sales up markedly in the second half. Achievements were gained by developing functional programs and empowering employees to partner with market leaders in both the distributor and end user communities. Division was eliminated in December of 1999, and I declined to return when offered in January. -

The subsequent hiring and training of their replacements was completed by 8/97, with an assembled group of 19 Independents that were contributing significantly to the double digit sales growth of the territory to approximately $5 million. Company was sold to Graham-Field and I was offered a position in Kansas City, but declined to relocate.
