I'm the founder, owner and chef at KITCHEN, a culinary studio in downtown Edmonton, Alberta, that is home to corporate and private parties, individual and group cooking classes, catered meetings and more.I create, produce and sell a range of food products, including Bacon Jam, BBQ Rub, Espresso Caramel Sauce, Devil's Butter and other tasty goods. These are available at KITCHEN and in select retail outlets across Western Canada.I'm also a research development chef, creating new food products for large food manufacturers and developing menus for food service providers.I am a certified research development chef and a Red Seal Chef. In addition to my work through KITCHEN, I also do food service consulting, recipe and product development, and I authored a best-selling cookbook, The Canadian Barbecue Cookbook.

I also developed a line of globally inspired meals(Chinese, Indian, Mexican) as single-serve entrees as well as family size under the name Discover Cuisine. This was the 2008 SIAL d’Or Winner at the SIAL food show in Paris. The product was introduced in Costco Canada and the US. The line was later sold to Con Agra Foods. I also developed several private label products, as well as a number of food items for the deli fresh area of Costco, specifically their assembled meals. -
