They will also be responsible for… Show more The Senior Operator will be responsible for ensuring the availability of online files during working hours in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLA’s). They will utilize the Report Tracking System to ensure SLA’s for printed output are met. The Senior will be responsible for the completion of all daily schedules, including but not limited to; Curian, Performance Plus, Cybertek, Vantage, RPS, Lawson, Financial, J2K and Equity Plus. They will also be responsible for monitoring all hardware consoles and responding to required messages. This individual will operate all data center equipment, including multiple mainframes and numerous mid-range and LAN servers for Test, Model Office, and Production regions. The Senior will monitor access to Data Centers, monitor error reporting software, open and annotate tickets for problems encountered. The Senior will be responsible for printing reports and requests on multiple Xerox platforms, checking for quality and accuracy of the printed output, and assist in finishing and shipping of specialty products. The Senior will be responsible for training, evaluating and providing feedback concerning training, and answering questions of staff members. The Senior will attend shift turnover meetings, as well as prepare and review the documents needed for these meetings. They will also be responsible for limited supervisory functions in the absence of a shift supervisor. Other duties will include: loading supplies and media into data center equipment, run CD-ROM Duplicators, execute job reprints from Mobius, work with vendors to resolve hardware problems, fill-in for other operators, and complete other assignments as required to assist the department management team.
