Working as a Year 1 teaching assistant has been a fascinating and rewarding experience for me. I have gained some very valuable experience in relaying information and tasks to very young children. Working in this position means I have learned to deal with a substantial group of individuals (24 five to six-year-olds), work confidently and efficiently as part of a team and also prepared me for dealing with parents. I also have learned the importance of confidentiality and some of the best practices for working in a school.

Sarbkar NW is a Liverpool based Saab dealership. I have been working as an ecommerce sales assistant for Sarbkar NW selling and promoting car parts. My job responsibilities include stock checking, researching item specifics and creating a listing for the item. During my time at Sarbkar NW I have also been responsible for the business IT network undertaking maintenance on computer equipment, software and the network. I consider my time spent at Sarbkar as a great introduction to computers and networking in a business environment and as I know downtime will negatively affect the organization I am always expanding my knowledge to assess and correct any issues.

I worked as part of the AV team at the Qatar National Convention Centre assisting the Audio Visual team in the set-up of the audio and video systems in the newly opened convention centre. This was a freelance short term contract for the set-up period. I enjoyed working as part of the team and I also enjoyed my experience of working in the Middle East.
