Working with the former Sun Microsystems configurator group in Oracle's Supply Chain Organization serving the needs of commercial hardware spanning multiple commodity group sales users. Some of my responsibilities were:♦ Represent the organization on hardware product team meetings, tasked with determining impact to configurator in regards to product lifecycle, requirements changes, updated regulatory requirements and supply planning♦ Build and maintain requirements documentation for over 13 hardware products in the configurator, including SPARC, Acme and Fujitsu systems♦ Development of 'Build Maps', which generate XML output to be read at the factory level to instruct manufacturing team members precisely where components should be slotted or placed♦ Architect the complete solution for all New Product Introductions in assigned product groups.
