⭐ I help small, growing teams work more efficiently, so they can spend more time doing the things they do best. ⭐ ----------If you've found some success with your company, you've also probably hired more people. As successful companies grow, their ways of working tend not to keep up. Small organizations are especially susceptible to this, as the difference between 5 and 15 employees has a far bigger impact than going from 105 to 115.But these issues are not always apparent. It's the classic (and apocryphal!) frog-boiling-in-water situation. Symptoms of digital operations issues include:- Work "not feeling like it used to"- Spending all your day in email or Slack- Not being able to find *that file*- No longer knowing what everyone is working on- Feeling like you no longer have time to do "real work"I'll sit with you and your team to learn what's worked in the past, what's challenging you now, and where you want to go. From there, we'll build a customized solution that aligns with your goals, technical aptitude, budget, and preferences. I've built plans like these for small non-profits and multi-million dollar firms and can do it for you, too. == About Me ==My leadership roles in program, product, and design ops have honed my ability to balance strategic objectives with immediate realities. I bring a comprehensive perspective to my engagements, having served as a PM, designer, account manager, and department leader across various organizations. I have extensive experience leading web and mobile design teams, collaborating with clients, and establishing effective operational practices.Throughout my career, I've managed teams of up to 12 individuals, led a department of over 50, and overseen numerous client projects simultaneously. I’ve facilitated many working sessions and designed and implemented targeted programs to enhance efficiency, repeatability, career pathing, and remote collaboration. As the leader of a design department, I developed a comprehensive guide to our work philosophy. When our organization transitioned to remote work, I established a framework to maintain our collaborative excellence. My strengths include clarifying complexity, operating at the big picture and day-to-day levels, calming stressful situations, building connections with others, and having a high sense of personal responsibility (ownership). I’m technically oriented, design-minded, and detail-oriented, but I also recognize the value of “good enough” in my work.
