Compiled and presented progress updates, roadblocks, and mitigations in steering committee meetings. Managed a team of five cross-vendor developers as part of a two year multi-million-dollar system integration and consolidation project. Re-architected a tightly-coupled ASP.NET WebForms application into an ASP.NET MVC application with proper separation of concerns for an electric energy retailer, allowing for future technology changes and growth. Worked with an international project team, UK-based, to internationalize and update a North American retail energy pricing and commissions portal to meet the needs of the UK retail energy market. Development work included system consumption and generation of Excel workbooks, ASP.NET MVC, MS SQL, and proprietary solutions to energy pricing model calculations. Lead developer of a three member team that designed, developed, and delivered an inventory management and tracking system for a leading brand experience company using ASP.NET MVC, MS SQL, and SSIS. Developed an ETL and data warehouse solution to provide highly available MS SQL access to source data in a heavily utilized Oracle DB instance. Full-stack development for a conference show order management system using ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, MS SQL, Bootstrap, CSS, and JS. Coordinated with vendor based offshore development and QA resources to integrate development changes and testing results into onshore workloads. Presented development status, roadblocks, and mitigations at regular stakeholder status meetings. Worked with product owners to gather requirements, perform intra sprint feature demonstrations, and gauge product satisfaction with user base. Served as a mentor to summer interns, providing regular coaching and feedback. Proactively conducted one-on-one meetings, training, and coaching to junior development team members. Followed agile software development methodologies creating user stories, assigning user story points, and burning points. Filled-in for scrum master, as needed. Developed training materials and conducted training courses for a custom implementation of SharePoint at a Fortune 500 insurance company. Developed user interfaces for cross-platform mobile enterprise applications using jQuery Mobile and Sencha Touch (Ext JS). Developed and presented a training course and demonstration of advancements coming in HTML5, highlighting web sockets. Participated in college recruiting efforts, performing on-the-spot assessments of candidates at career fairs. Joined an internal development project to develop a portal for tracking feedback and career development, served as a key developer on this project.
