Railsbank is building a global transactional banking platform without a banking license. We make it easy for fintech startups, traditional financial services providers and brands to develop, launch and scale innovative financial products. At Railsbank, I had a duel role; managing and growing our partner network of banks and ultimate responsibility for marketing globally. During my time at Railsbank, we grew from 7 to 90 people, increased MRR 10x, expanded to SE Asia and USA, were named Best Startup at Web Summit's MoneyConf, became a Visa Issuer and raised a Series A. I closed deals with US and Australian banking partners and worked with the VP of Sales to build a whole new marketing/sales process as we scaled that resulted in sales cycles to improve by 80%.

These investments include Russia's first online-only insurer, an innovative startup SME lending platform in Turkey and a NPL collection platform that has grown from a shell to a top 2 company by leveraging big data.

Tam Faktoring is a startup funded by EBRD in partnership with Actera, a leading PE fund in Turkey. It provides factoring services to MSMEs through mobile, online and a branch network. Tam was established to target the MSME segment, which was underserved by banks and existing factoring companies. By utilising innovative distribution, product development and credit scoring, Tam became a top 3 factoring company by number of customers within two and a half years of starting.

TurkAsset began as a startup and is now a leading Turkish integrated non-performing debt purchase and collection platform. It uses global industry-leading technologies (big data, analytics), combined with best practice collection techniques to recover bad debt in a fair and transparent way.
