• Lead the development and execution of a companywide Facilities Maintenance program, including managing the company’s national accounts and other key external vendors for facilities maintenance support• Develop and manage annual budgets for store maintenance programs, researching opportunities to improve quality and reduce costs in Facilities Maintenance• Lead the company through new store opening schedules, from the point of construction through grand opening, which includes: coordinating turnover logistics with landlord, managing store set-up process, and conducting on-site visits and 11-month walk-throughs to ensure stores are running efficiently• Act as a cross-functional project manager, working closely with IT, merchandising, marketing, design, accounting, store operations and supply chain in taking a store from conception to grand opening.• Manage the communication and partnership of key vendors in the fields of: architecture and engineering design, general contracting, millwork and key visual presentations, transportation• Serve as the liaison between the general contractor and store team during store openings; support the retail management team with tasks and miscellaneous support during the opening process• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the entire new store development process from real estate selection to execution and delivery of a new store• Assist in the management and coordination of capital improvement projects
