Brady Dopler is a hard working and driven individual with a passion for the sport industry. He is studying at the University of Missouri-Columbia, working to achieve a Bachelor's of Science in Parks, Recreation and Tourism with an emphasis in Sport Management. During his time at the University of Missouri Brady has studied a wide range of classes that encompass the broad and ever-growing world of sport. Some of these classes include, the Business of Sport, Administration of Leisure Services, Program Development in Leisure Services, Governance of Sport, Legal Aspects of Sport, and Sport Economics. Additionally, Brady has also taken multiple courses that focus on the different aspects of business.In addition to Brady's educational background, he also has work and volunteer experience that has helped him gain not only knowledge but also skills that help give him an edge in the professional world. Over the course of his 3 years at Prenger Foods Brady has acquired great customer service and communication skills. Furthermore, Brady has also gained 3 years of teamwork skills that make it easy for him to work with others to accomplish goals. Through his volunteer experience Brady has obtained experience more specific to his field of study. Brady has volunteered with organizations such as the Columbia, MO Parks and Recreation Department and the Centralia, MO Parks and Recreation Department. In his experiences with the Columbia Parks and Rec Department, Brady was part of a team of students that helped coordinate the Yappy Hour event, that hosted between 200-250 people, put on by Columbia Parks and Rec in April of 2016. Brady worked as part of the pre-event set up team and also worked during the event with his fellow students to help execute and carry out the event. Additionally, in his time spent volunteering with Centralia Parks and Rec, Brady has worked with others to maintain the positive recreational environment associated with their parks and recreation center.
