• Responsible for the execution of sales strategies through the development of relationships with customers, underwriting, distribution resources, and operations.• Work closely with agents and underwriting to ensure accurate policy data entry for quoting new business including property values, sales, payroll, vehicles, etc.• Establish and execute tactical sales plan to provide profitable growth for respective segments and line of business while focusing on revenue, profit, and sustainable growth goals.• Develop annual business plan for assigned territory, including agency segmentation, to determine top performers and agencies that are not making goal.• Assigned member of National Sales Committee working with Sales Executives throughout the country to promote open communication and develop consistent results.• Perform bi-monthly webinar series for training of product offerings for the region.

• Responsible for up to 7 claims representatives adjusting workers compensation and auto liability claims. Provide direction and authority for claims in excess of adjuster settlement authority.• Designated Representative for “Tier 1” Accounts for brokers, agents, and insured clients as part of Account Management Program.• Represent MSIG for claim reviews with insured customers reviewing lines of business including Auto Physical Damage, Bodily Injury, Property, General Liability, Work Comp and Subrogation.• Oversee TPA Program to include supervision of TPA file handlers, providing settlement authority and approving liability and compensability matters.• Manage active claim count of Auto Physical Damage and Bodily Injury claims utilizing panel counsel on litigated files to include litigation plans, budget, negotiations and settlement.• Member of Internal Audit team responsible for auditing of claims handling. Includes review of file handler for meeting internal standards and regulatory requirements.• Attend New Client Meetings representing the Claims Department on behalf of MSIG.• Prepare monthly reports of departmental activity to analyze trends and establish loss projections.• Developed and published internal reporting guidelines for government filing requirements.• Responsible for Self-Insured Auto Physical Damage program including renewal of contracts and establishing standards and reporting methods and criteria.• Member of the Core System Replacement Project implementing new claim handling software.• Selected to represent MSIG and became an approved member of Arbitration Forums.
