Emissions & Fleet Management Engineer
My role as an Emissions and Fleet Management Engineer at MBUSI was to manage emissions equipment and vehicle testing in our department. My larger projects included the rerouting of pressurized tubing and network cable expansion for equipment inside emission test cells. By completing my job, I was able to increase maneuverability in the workspace and reduce potential error in testing procedures. Equipment in the department was also frequently due for calibration, which required coordination with third-party tool management services and shipping management. By completing these tasks I was able to increase reliability and set standards for equipment calibration in the department. Other completed assignments during my work term included managing electrical vehicle battery adaptation processes, electrical work, emissions software testing documentation, and audit compliance topics. By the end of my work-term I had improved my tool skillset by handling a wide range of instruments and also gained additional experience in data analysis through emissions software and Microsoft excel.
